We are a nation of immigrants. We will take your tired, your poor, and your hungry, but we will do so under the umbrella of our legal system. We must enforce our visa rules. Immigration agents must monitor visa holders and deport anyone who violates U.S. law or overstays the term of their visa.

There should be no amnesty for illegal aliens. We should not reward the tens of millions of people who have broken our laws by entering our country illegally.

There should be no welfare for illegal aliens. It is unfair to ask the U.S. taxpayers to pay for illegal immigrants who use our schools, hospitals and other social services.

We must pass real immigration reform, but to do that, we must secure our borders. Securing our borders is also imperative for our nation's security.
